Day of Miracles (Chotrul Duchen)

February 24

The Great Prayer Festival ends in the first auspicious day for the year, the Day of Miracles.

The first to the fifteenth day of the Tibetan new year commemorates the special time when Guru Shakyamuni Buddha displayed a different miracle every day for fifteen days.

All fifteen days are merit multiplying days, when the merit of any virtuous actions performed is multiplied by 100 million as cited by Lama Zopa Rinpoche from the Vinaya text Treasure of Quotations and Logic.
