Mental Health First Aid provides assistance for an emerging illness, a known mental illness, or with a crisis. Learn to recognise the signs & symptoms, how to talk to a person experiencing a worsening mental health problem or a mental health crisis, and where to refer them.

• 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid (SMHFA) course.
• Course topics cover: prevalence of mental health problems, depression, anxiety, psychosis and substance use issues, suicide, panic attacks and other mental health crises.
• Participants receive a copy of the Standard MHFA manual.
• Participants are eligible to become an accredited Mental Health First Aider, and eligible for CBD points once the 12 hours is completed.
